HR Admin Assistant

If you’re a confident person with great people skills, passionate about delivering excellent results while continually demonstrating excellent organisational and communication skills, this could be just the job for you. As HR Admin Assistant, you’ll be providing full administrative support for the HR function, ensuring all tasks and processes are completed accurately, on-time and within legal compliance.

In this busy and varied role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing all relevant documentation for new starters, current employees and leavers
  • Maintaining up-to-date job descriptions, contracts, performance reviews etc
  • Monitoring holiday / absence records and liaising with payroll dept
  • Assisting with recruitment, coordinating recruitment days and arranging interviews
  • Arranging and monitoring employee training
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date confidential HR records in electronic format
  • Contributing to the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • General office duties, as required, to assist in the smooth running of the business

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong administrative experience dealing with employee related documentation
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of HR principles and UK employment law
  • Positive can-do attitude with great people skills
  • Well organised with an ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to focus and maintain accurate attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding telephone manner
  • Proficient user of Office 365 including MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English & Maths

Part time working hours are Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm(30 hours per week)
